Duration: 5 hours .

Purpose: initially, this output was programmed as an output initiation. For lack of "combatant", it turned out in inter-club with a cinema and initiation rope for Pierre.

At the entrance, there were only 5 bat, which is low in this season.

We met the team that was in Lauzin yesterday, with Alain and Veronique, at the descent to the lower gallery (from Guy). They were eager to go back. Obviously they have not seen the skulls in the lower gallery.

We equipped the passage of Guy, and the passage by the seat of the skull to reach the small vertical shaft of 5-6 meters.

We got out and went along the gallery that was beautiful, with gours all full of water. Alain has filmed extensively all gours, reflections, etc. ...

We broke the crust at the bottom upstream of this gallery. Then we filmed the skulls. So we were surprised to see that the bottom of the large gallery was empty of water, with only a trickle flowing. We then went to visit the whole party, and there were a few strokes of cinema. So we do not need to equip the general incline of 40 meters.

part of the group is raised by the small vertical level gours, and the other part is raised by the passage of Guy.

This day has allowed us try the equipment in place with Denis, a few weeks ago.

very nice output between the two clubs. The lower galleries with water were beautiful spots in the lighting of cinema. A remake!

exit to the Causse de Labruguière, Friday, February 18, 2011

Proceedings of the release of Friday, February 18 on the Causse de Labruguière.

Sheet Editor: Patrick
Cabrol.

Participants: Patrick Cabrol (DREAL), Jean-Pierre PLANTY (SCMNE).

Duration:
  • 10:30 to 12: Patrick Cabrol - Photos and tracking between Aiguefonde and Reclot. Observations on the road from the former trunk road to Aiguefonde:
- at the loss of Rockery
- Alignment of dolines and Mouillère over the previous loss
- search for the origin Water coming out in the middle of Laura (with raising chickens) to the input of Aiguefonde. We must remove this statement of work for the day before because it is in fact the arrival of a stream is channeled, in gardens, but this is not a resurgence.

  • 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Patrick and Jean-Pierre Cabrol PLANTY.
We first try to find a cavity, from the farm of Mirabelle. After meeting with the farmer of the farm, he will return by the neighbor from Jean-Pierre, because it's easier to access. We then head to the farm of Tignarié to see the former lignite mine , and the resurgence of Tignarié.

Cave resurgence of Tignarié is about 50 meters downstream from the bridge two lanes rapid spanning Thor here. Nice little resurgence, very little water in the cave. A wall placed at the entrance to the gallery Aadu butcher upstream. There are two small sinkholes barely visible in the meadow between the house and resurgence.

Farm Gasc In: Series of four small holes at 4-5 meters from the edge of Thore, and 2-3 feet above its level. These cavities are not penetrable by the state, but they could be désobstruées to see what's behind. It does not seem that we have found the "real" cave in Gasc, I saw with Thierry MARTIN, during his excavations, circa 1975. It will ask and come back.

Near Airport Castres-MAZAMET: in a large meadow almost flat, a beautiful weeping willow tree is watered by a hose that delivers a good flow of water to water the sheep. It seems there right next to a hole that rejects a good flow of water during heavy rainfall. We have not found, it will return.

Resurgence Touziac ?? (Name check) : captured to the farm with a pipe, and a channel well cleaned. Former

collapse of the road at the intersection that goes to Rougery: there thirty years, the road collapsed from a roadside, up to 10 meters on the other side in a field!

In talking with a farmer from the hamlet, we learn of a source to penetrate, and built of dry stone, about fifty meters to Bellegarde. We're going to do with the farmer, very interesting visit.

It then shows a loss (1 liter / second) between two thorns in the meadows. And a beautiful sinkhole formation (3 meters in diameter). There are others that are extremely small in its field. We are 50 meters from the road, and it plans to sell the pre to build.

We will then see a house rebuilt on an old house, which collapsed on the spot, thirty years ago, the hamlet "Les Bruzas. The new owner has put a concrete slab, and moved on.

We ended the resurgence of Bondou , located at the bottom of Thore, the bend at the large mill, located at the crossroads of the road that leads to the Reclot.

exit to the Causse de Labruguière

  • Proceedings of the output on the Causse de Labruguière.

Date: Sunday, February 13
.

Editor of the record: Patrick Cabrol (DREAL)

Participants: Patrick Cabrol (DREAL), Jean-Pierre PLANTY (SCMNE), Marie-Claire AUDOUAR (SCMNE) and Jean-Louis CHAMBRAUDET (SCMNE) .

Duration: 13h to 17h (4:00)

Purpose of release: Inventory and karst cavities.

Work done:

We began our work by the small road leading from the RD 621 to Lacalm.

  • Not far from the RD 621, south, we saw many "sinkholes", referenced in the week by Jean-Pierre, the review has been a pretty little stream that loses itself in foot a small hamlet. This is a magnificent loss where 5 to 6 liters seconds disappear instantly, with a small waterfall. The loss seems to penetrate. He will return (if the creek would dry up even better). This is one of the finest examples I know of loss.
  • A little farther south, we have nearly a sloping a series of sinkholes, two Pesquiers, etc ..., which give rise to a small creek below. This set is well marked in the landscape, by groups of trees. Everything is properly aligned.
  • At the entrance of the village (Lacalm) on the same road, there on the west side of the road, a creek that flows well and seems to emerge from underground (hidden by trees), this place uses pen chickens. We went on the road located 100 meters upstream: No route stream, seeming to indicate that the water emerges from underground, between these two points. We should ask permission to go further.
  • Grotte de la Balme: magnificent porch of a resurgence of old, whose size is not aligned with the flow of the river current. Jean-Louis is back in a small hole to the right of the porch, and he joined a small underground stream. At 100 meters upstream, there is a loss that old was pumped (in ruins), and 100 meters downstream, there is a small resurgence, whose waters come in a laundry.
  • We went right bank of Thore, and started going by identifying and photographing cavities located on the cliff south of Le Thor, at the sawmill.
  • We then found the hermit's cave, along a narrow path climbs steeply to 50 meters east of the two medium voltage electric poles. Exactly at these posts, you can descend directly into the cavity through a rope, because it is completely vertical. It is a natural cavity, which was arranged to receive the pigeons. The interior is very simple, but beautiful.
  • We continued up to the magnificent cave Pisselièvre, which is probably an old resurgence. On the surface, we saw a beautiful wooded valley floor, which upstream must be a dry valley (see map and aerial photo).

Sunday, February 13, 2011 General Meeting of SC 34 - February 12, 2011

The general meeting of the Departmental Committee of Speleology of Herault (CDS 34), was held Saturday, February 12, 2011, to the Departmental Home Sports, avenue du Père Soulas Montpellier.

is an audience reduced to almost nothing (about twenty present), the Acting Chairperson, Suzanne RAYNAUD, opened the meeting.

But where are the clubs Herault? I remember a meeting where the AG asked that all cavers can vote Farewell system of electoral votes.

Today, despite voting for all cavers Federated, there are more great mobilization. Why?

I heard during this GA, remonstrances on the part of a club, finding those responsible for our CDS " a little soft" . Do we dare to

such a remark, but especially avoid s "engage in the activities of the CDS, when there are vacancies on the Steering Committee. Criticism is easy, but art is difficult. Patrick, you got the better of him fly through the plumes.

2012 will be elected one year, either at departmental level and regionally. I am worried about the future of our bodies.

The CDS and the Regional Committee shall not n ' be a money pump for the clubs. We are capable of doing great things, but it must be new blood, new ideas, and not rely on the same people who are exhausted, and who ultimately reap that criticism. What are you fucking balls.

I know what I mean, being the treasurer of the Regional Committee, and since this GA, the great elector of CDS to represent you at the next Federal AG, which I am against the accumulation of mandates, but how do otherwise, When anyone, especially those who criticize, do not want to commit. A

when a real awareness of all Federated Herault?

Should we wait until we are under supervision of the federation to get things moving!

Metallic Taste In Mouth Wisdom Teeth

exit to the Causse de Labruguière - Wednesday, February 8

Proceedings of the output on the Causse de Labruguière (RNA)

Editor of the record:
Patrick Cabrol

Wednesday, February 8, 2011.

Participants: Patrick Cabrol
(DREAL) - Jean-Pierre PLANTY (SCMNE)

Duration: from 12:30 to 17:30 (5:00)

Purpose: inventory of the karst limestone plateau Labruguière.

Work done:

Morning

By late morning, I went for a walk and to eat the farm Roumégas. This allowed me to find a resurgence (5 liters / s), which was not known Jean-Pierre. After checking the next day by Jean-Pierre, it turns out that this is the loss of water located near the network Jean-Marie Coste.

Afternoon:

We started our visit a living (almost Roubinarié), whose house is built on a cave 14 meters deep at the bottom of which flows an underground stream. The neighboring house is currently in crack two.
A little further down the construction of a hangar was accompanied by a falling construction equipment.

Below, the National Highway 621 was opened and a truck could get stuck! (In the 60 or 70). Here, we used the dowsing rods to see what it gave, Jean-Pierre and me to go back to the other side of the road. The responses were identical sticks (I was the first surprise!)

We went to Caucalières (source Theron and loss of Thor), then we continued on Lardicou (resurgence little dry today and collapse ).

We continued right bank, the search for cavities along the Thore (at about the mill), and we were wrong by 1 km. This allowed us to discover by chance, an area of cliff edge of Thore, where many small cavities are impenetrable to 100 meters (downstream of the causeway Bonnery, which is equipped with a pumping station). This means that a network needs to happen in this area, and that is not listed.

We left towards the village of En Sire, to record losses and various phenomena, known as Jean-Pierre. We ended the great resurgence in sire, where we were surprised to discover that the small collapse that measured 1 m in diameter and 50 cm deep, six months ago, is now 2 m in diameter and one meter in background, with a crack that extends between two boulders on a good meter longer (between resurgence and the Loss of Resse). We had no lamp or business to see what was happening.

I was surprised to note that the stream of Resse debit at this location, about 20 to 30 liters seconds, then it delivers 3-5 liters seconds in the garden of one resident, 500 meters above. Various phenomena we have therefore surely missed.

Friday, February 10, Jean-Pierre went to City Hall Labruguière to see the Land Registry from the list of caves on the site of BRGM. Nothing matches, there are common errors, the localities are not found, etc. ...

examine everything very seriously.

Next working day: Sunday, February 13th at 1:00 p.m. at Jean-Pierre.

I think we have them for 5-6 days of work again, at a rate of half a day as we are doing now, to save Jean-Pierre. I still have a lot of work on the various cavities inventories published on the sector. It is difficult usable, but try to find the maximum of points. This plateau appears to be changing very quickly. Everything must be archived.

Alopecia Universalis-can It Be Cured?

Exit the cave of Anaïs

Proceedings of the output.

Editor of the record:
Patrick Cabrol.

Participants: Patrick Cabrol - DECOSTER and Frederic Pascal CHAUVIN Vaucluse.

Purpose: removing stones from the last fire there are two or three months to get a clearer picture for future work. We work here in about 8-10 meters below the entrance of the cavity.

underground Time: 2 hours .

Work done:

The last shooting perfectly well. Few stones, blocks with only 10 to 15 kg, we went out with a rope. Their average size has facilitated their release. They are being evacuated in the main well, and stored on the bottom side. There is still some room in the galleries start at the bottom of the pit entrance.

Since the early work at this location, 4 to 5 meters were drilled on a section of 0.8 x 0.8 meters. This allows to move with a minimum of comfort, even if not perfect.

The gallery is sloped at 45 degrees, due south-east. It dives well, this is not the direction we wanted (we wanted the North or Northwest, to enter the mountain), but the current terminus of our site, there is a right angle bend to the left . This means that it seems that we are moving in an Anais room, which is only ten meters.

This encourages us, was the presence of a net current of air, while outside, there was no wind, and temperatures were balanced.

For the next meeting, it will expand into solid rock at the left end of the descent, then attack the filling that is in front. There is a small extension to this place, and a shelf. A fire would move much more easily for subsequent operations. A string

Roquebleu unusable, is now used for unblocking this cavity to pull the block, and buckets of 5 meters.

When you visit this cavity, one is surprised by the appearance of all labyrinthine parallel wells that go down until finally - 60 in the entrance, with narrow joints between some of them. The rock is very corroded, and combinations are strained, especially to - 20. Finding the way through this mess is not clear. We hope that the air flow will help us.

Pascal and Frederick have to redo a small Courniou stay in late March, with one or two other people, if they can. These are the best dates for them, depending on their schedule obligations.

They arrive on Thursday evening March 16 and would go directly to Anaïs to make a big shot. "Sleep on it", the gas could go away quietly, leaving a clean sweep for work Friday morning (especially with the slight current of air current). They remain

Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday, March 20. Saturday 19 March, SCMNE planned a trip to Roquebleu with Passepartrou. It is not clear to help them, in fact, I think I am unfortunately not here this weekend is because I go on meeting in Paris this weekend.
